Kidsbooks markets our books primarily to blue-chip retailers, schools, libraries, and special markets. Kidsbooks' titles are available at Barnes & Noble, BJ's, Costco, Marshall's, Sam's, TJ Maxx, and more.
About 100 new titles are published each year, complementing an active backlist library of over 500 "evergreen" titles. Formats include softcover, hardcover, board, and lift-the-ﬂap books.

We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented and dedicated individual who is eager to learn about all aspects of a children's publishing company and to be part of a small and creative team. The chosen candidate will help out with the editorial, design and sales team. The desired time commitment is twenty hours a week. The internship does not offer any monetary compensation.
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Editorial - proofread manuscripts, page layouts, proofs, advances; assist with writing manuscripts, perform library and bookstore research as needed, and assist managing with a variety of clerical and editorial duties.
Design- assist designers with preliminary page set up, font research, format selection and scanning of illustrator sketches, assist designers with making of book dummies and mock-ups for sales presentations and a variety of clerical and design duties.
Sales--assist with sales reports, fulfilling requests for sales materials, preparation for meetings. Creates sell sheets for sales catalog as well as content for website. Assists with social networking (Facebook and Twitter).
